but that was all in the rising dollar world econ envmt
we are no longer in that envmt

I don't think you do. The overpriced dollar hurt American manufacturers. The decline will increase demand and boost earnings.

Jim, I'm not trying to convince you but the exchange of ideas can be useful. I think the $ decline is a needed correction, just like the Nas bubble. The $ is returning to the mean.
