How about an improving economy, or do you believe the disconnect 'twixt the two is permanent.

Mind you, at best, I would anticipate any rise to be accompanied with a lot of churn. If for no other reason than the market likes bear steak just as much as beef steak - and we know who is fat.

Joel, I refuse to be surprised by this market and you could very well be right. I'm not a good trader in this kind of froth, so I'll just stay on the sidelines with what cash I have left and try to get in later rather than sooner.

I've had money in the market since the early 70's and this market is something I've not seen before, and one day (not any time soon) it will turn around.
