I recall you posting something along the lines of "he really knows process".

I obviously wasn't talking about you. How about a link?

But, I can see the new Intel stooge tactic is to try to discredit me any way possible.

You don't need any help. You do a fine job all by yourself.

I've made enough posts since 7/99 for any one following these threads to come to their own conclusion about what I know or don't know.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

TWY, Re: "I don't post very often and as I've said before...if I jumped in on every process issue, I'd be on these threads far too much. But, I've made enough posts since 7/99 for any one following these threads to come to their own conclusion about what I know or don't know."

In other words, you already paid your dues as a contributing member of this forum. Those who have known you since 1999 know that you are technically experienced in certain matters. Therefore, you think this has given you the right to no longer be productive on this thread, to no longer be courteous to other people, and to no longer have any rules of social conduct that apply to you as a member.

The last technical discussion I remember from you on any thread was concerning increasing power levels in the Pentium 4 on its way to 3GHz, and how you thought it looked like Intel was likely to start shipping garbage parts because they were being forced by the competition into some kind of wall.

We'll see what the 3.06GHz launch looks like in a few months, but either way, I found your discussion interesting. You're probably right about some things getting increasingly difficult to handle at these higher frequencies and larger power envelopes. If it isn't at 3GHz, then maybe after that? At any rate, people used to learn a thing or two from your posts.

These days, though, your only "contribution" to this thread is to insert your $0.02 wherever you think is necessary, which usually does nothing more than fan the flame wars. Not that you care about my opinion, but I have a feeling you'd carry more respect from your technical expertise than with your half-witty comebacks.
