We just "upgraded" to digital cable, and for the first time in over a decade ordered the premium channels. All of them. <g>

I have watched so little TV over the past decade that I don't even know what's on anymore. I have never seen the Sopranos, Sex in the City, or any of those other HBO shows. Now I can watch them. I can feel the dry rot forming (does dry rot "form"?) in my head already.

So tell me, what channel should we turn the TV to in here?

(Notice that every room is equipped with a wide screen and five speaker surround sound. Spoils of a lifetime of crime and plunder. <g>)

1) How bad TV is for the culture
Termites in the attic.

The least least common denominator.

ANYTHING that assumes an audience so stupid that they cannot figure out for themselves what is humorous and what is not is beyond hope. Period.

You dispute that? You need canned laughter? If the audience is smart enough to recognize humor, why use it?
