Maurice, repeat after me: It is over, all over for Q, and when abracadabra reappears, it will look nothing remotely like Q, as Q is and will simply be fighting for a share of investors DEFLATING wallets with thousands of other listed companies.

The blowback of burnt crispy investors will be demanding DIVIDENDS at a higher level than soon to be rising (yield) Treasuries, and GROWTH faster than soon to be kick-in-the-behind INFLATION. They will get what they want by having Q bid down to $3/share.

The bears have not even started working on Q yet.

Chugs, Jay

A fantastic trend indeed.
Where the H is the profit for QCOM in it?
Can it continue?
Is it priced in and more?
Does a bear market give a rat's ass?
Will QCOM EVER make dime one out of china?
For such a wonderful trend why is the stock dropping?
How much of QCOM's priofits are given away in stock options?
Is shareholder equiting rising with "supposed" profit growth?
What is a reasonable PE for this "bargain"?
With stock options and, pro forma BS, and one tiime hits etc etc etc, does QCOM really have a PE?

Enquiring minds want to know the answers to those questions.
In the meantime I suppose the trend is your friend.
Note: I am just throwing out questions without researching, but perhaps you have some. Then again, since QCOM is motherhood and apple pie, perhaps you do not care what the answers are, EVEN IF YOU COULD BE OBJECTIVE ABOUT THEM.

Not trying to stir up trouble, just trying to understand why one would hold a plunging stock making lower and lower lows IN A BEAR MARKET all the way down. Eventually it will make higher highs but for all I know that will be from $12.

Reality Check from the heartland: re CDMA

It is now possible to buy a CDMA phone in the midwest(Missouri) that will work on the Sprint PCS network. The cheapest phone is $179 and allows one to use the device over the internet at ~ 140K. (they say it is currently @70K but will double in October). For $199 the device can do pictures. Samsung and Sanyo were the only brands available.

Current Sprint subscribers would have to upgrade to use the 3G signal.
