LOL, really. Which light is the "proper" one?

You find that funny? really! Not the BBC right now, and since you ask the question I will tell you my answer.

I pay the British government a license fee to produce programs and report unbiased news. It is one of the few companies world wide that has an assured market sponsored by government funds. In that light the BBC has a responsibility to be fair in reporting news. Otherwise I write to my MP (Member of Parliament). Something I am in the process of doing.

There can only be settlement in the Middle East if education is used as a tool for peace instead of war. Period. That is children should be not taught to kill and maim. If goodwill and education is used, I'd say in about a generation, the troubles in the Middle East can be overcome (about 30 yrs).

Now money sent to the ME is used to help feed and educate people. Administrators have an important responsibility to make sure these funds are not being manipulated for terrorism (or war like) reasons.

The Israelis, for all there terribleness, do seem to have educational programs in place where the Palistinians are to be treated like people, not vermin. I do not see any such educational programs in evidence on the Palestinian side. There is evidence in fact where funds are being misused.

The media does have a cummulative subtle educational value too, even with adults. Hence my beef with the BBC.

My recent disagreement with the BBC. It can be best summed up by one of Nadines posts. This is just one instance.

So two people, related to a suicide bombing planner, are thrown out of the region by Israeli courts. Big News on the BBC. At the same time a palestinian kangaroo court tortures and kills a family, including kids, accused of collaberation with the Israelis, is not BBC news.

Doesn't sound fair and balanced to me. I have not got an answer from the BBC yet, but they will be providing one. It's just how hard they want me to go about getting one.
