Not really. In this age, good writers and thinkers don't "go"....they relocate, because there are so many options to get their ideas out to the people. I don't read much of anything on an everyday basis....I float and skim through lots of things looking for nuggets of wisdom. I like to read while I am eating.....so I generally get several hours a day of reading in. <g>

We get the Nation, and now I don't know what of interest and unpredictability there will be to read in it, unless Katha Pollitt breaks up with another boyfriend.
