Well it wasn't obvious to me it was Krauthammer. :-) Both Clinton and Bush (W) had intelligence about OBL and al Qaeda. Both were blindsided. The world was blindsided. Saying that Clinton, or Gore, or Bush, or anyone, could have prevented 9-11 is a pure waste of focus and energy, IMO. It happened. Let's stop pointing fingers (on all sides) and deal with the issues at hand: how to wipe out al Qaeda, how to capture bin Laden, how to deal quickly and effectively-- with an eye toward the long term future of our country's reputation and integrity-- with the threats posed by Saddam Hussein and religious zealots who are massing weapons of mass destruction. The Clinton blow job fiasco is silly. It's as though most of the right has never heard of, nor received one. Get over the titillation, please! Talk to me about the issues facing the United States now. Oh, and I'll be gone much of the afternoon. -gg
