G Cole...

I forgot to add the other looming "cloud" on the horizon... the PENSION Plan collapse.

Weekly DOW is UGH-LY ~ no rally shown on this chart either fwiw...

stockcharts.com[m,a]waclyyay[pb50!b200][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9]&pref=G

DOW failed at 10,000, 9,000,,, now 8,000 looks to be the next cap... downward grinding trading range.

Slider:

Thanks for your in-depth comments!

I agree that this bear market is far from over. Still bear market rallies can be very profitable for those correctly positioned.

Steve Saville -- who is even more bearish long-term than you -- thinks this rally could continue for a few weeks.

Slider: A question from Jim Woolly
who is suspended from SI until the 24th

Could somebody ask Slider how low TENS yield will go???
I am thinking a little lower than 3.5%, maybe 3.3%
possibly, if USdollar quakes don't occur, down to 3.0%
my personal view is that FOREX market will define the TENS low

some big shit coming down the pike in a few weeks
RIGHT AFTER THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS
big ugly nasty stuff -- layoffs, cut spending, reduced props
all the politically risky stuff
/ jim
