Just received an offer for a Home Equity Line of Credit from Etrade. I guess their brokerage business isn't doing too good.

patron,

Re: credit.

The mail box is always full of credit card applications, but this week I have received telephone marketing calls for credit cards. First time ever received telephone calls and they are all free - zero interest!!!!!. My credit cards are debit cards and get paid immediately.

I am going to generate an amortization schedule and take them up on the zero financing activities, put the funds in an interest producing account and have the credit card company collect the monthly payments electronically. There would be no risk to me, and I can roll treasuries to shave a profit with no state taxes.

Joan
