After 8 years of Clinton hatred from the bloviating pundits as well as everybody else on the right, that kind of whine seems a little off. W's supposed to be some kind of sacred icon now? Why? Did he suddenly get more votes than Gore, and nobody knows about it? Has he perhaps decided to take control of foreign policy back from Perle?

Well it's definitely time to see that Dowd has an impact. The weekly standard is complaining. I gather it's alright to try to knife Clinton; but not right to do the same to Bush.

These folk aren't bothered by commentary like this--they just love Ann Coulter--but when it's turned on them, they get all hot and bothered.
