Third rate novelist??? THIRD RATE NOVELIST???

Neocon, I would very much appreciate it if you could postpone calling Frank Herbert a "third rate novelist" until after you read a few of his books. Start with Dune, which, incidentally, has been rated "Best sci-fi of all time" in a few polls.

Besides, comparing Nietsche and Herbert is rather absurd and completely uncalled for. I posted a quote from a book of Herbert because I do not agree with the "good vs evil" discourse of the present US administration. That's all there was to it.

Besides, do you realize that you are contradicting yourself? You were not contrasting Nietsche and Frank Herbert, you were in fact saying that they both objected "good and evil" :)

Nietzsche objected to the poles Good and Evil

I was contrasting a third rate novelist with a first rate philosopher

(Btw, I would hardly consider Nietsche a first-rate philosopher, but that is just my opinion, of course.)
