Wasn't just over a billion dollars in Infra contracts just awarded to approx. 10 different vendors last week? Seems like the Chinese are talking out of both sides of their mouths, but this has been going on for years with the Chinese. Pinhi

If I remember corectly Qcom's agreement with Chinese govt included Chinese version as well as Wcdma and Cdma2000. There was a press release at the time alluding to that fact. In any case bought a litlle on the hysteria.

ok, so explain why just 2 months ago, Siemens signed a lic agreement with Qualcomm which stated that they will pay royalties on TDSCDMA equipment just like any other cdma equipment? I am afraid china will have to go this one alone and risk screwing up their postion in the WTO.
