I'm not familiar with "Heeler"....what are they and where are they from? Shepherds' are smart, that's for sure! And as far as ours, yes, he is that small, and had no undercoat, so his fur is like a mop....Only thing is he HATES a bath, and fights it, so there is usually a lot of water to clean up from everywhere....so it's easier to take him to the doggie spa. :D
