I think what got me about the way the Media has played the story is that they wanted this sniper to be a inbred half-wit from the Kentucky hills, a real "Deliverence" type, a skinhead with tattoos. I have to admit, given my knowledge of profiling, I felt he was white or hispanic as well.. The one shot, one kill, technique is indicative of someone taking a premeditated, calculating, approach to the killing... An assassin, if you will, indiscriminate in his victims, but definitely a predatory mentality.. The profilers will definitely be required to spend some time analyzing what made these guys "tick".. What set them off, what their pattern was, and why they selected the kinds of targets that they did.. But first they have to get them to break and admit they even did it.. Hawk
