Hi Jean! Good to hear your rally cap was on at just the right time. You are quite right about throwing darts in this little episode. MRVC and ATML were (and still are) treating me well - one doubling and one tripling off their bottoms. (Don't interpret that to mean I rode the whole way but I'm happy to take my cut out of those rises!) Unfortunately, playing those two is now like playing the penny stocks of old. :^) As far as Futs McGuire is concerned, his whole life seems to consist of one big vacation. Last we heard, he was off buying himself another Caribbean island with his profits. LOL! Mike

Hi Jean! I was just giving these slackers a hard time...lol. I figured they haven't been posting much to amuse us so they MUST have been on vacation <G>. Don't blame the hubby for wanting to see how the Iraq thing works out. Dangerous times these days. And I am SOOOO happy to hear you are making lots of loot!. I've been doing better than my norm, but have also been whipsawed a lot from being nervous. I had a good week last week, and have some decent profit guaranteed next week but I am still working on my trading method ;o) My biggest focus these days seems to be; How on earth do I stay neutral and see a clear picture of what is going on? Much easier said than done I'm afraid! Any tips? <gg> One thing that may or may not be of interest or importance.. is Early Friday I couldn't get any shares to short of EXPE, SMH, KLAC, or COCO.. I checked at IB and at MyTrack.. also unavailable at track were INTC, YHOO, AMZN and others that I can't even remember. Then at the end of the day when I checked at track again, there were shares available of all of those. CCMP hasn't been available to me short for a while now. I'm not sure it means anything. Other brokers may have had shares, but I thought I'd mention it in case you know more about it than me and could fill me in <g>.. Even Baldy's stocks are going up <ggg>. LOL... no kidding! He has a good return already on MEDX! Good luck next week and keep booking the profits!! Robyn

jean?..jean, is that you?..used to know a jean once,she would drop in occasionally(obligatory guilt trip..gg) "And what exotic destination were you off to Ian??? damned if i know cause its news to me!..been sitting here workin' away as usual; altho the spousal unit does fly to chicago tomorrow for a week long course so it may FEEL like im on vacation...hehe

"..I've got my finger on the sell button again though because it doesn't feel right somehow..." shrewd as ever jeannie....despite my bullish posture we discussed back in early october, things are indeed getting strained here.....1390 (not sure of exact # - dont have charts up) should be a formidable obstacle and definitely aug/22's 1425 threshold will not fall without effort; volume is underwhelming...new highs nowhere near where i would like to see them ...this is without question a time to exercise caution if initiating new positions and also a time to be trailing up stops and consider taking profits on existing positions....a nice retrace is looming...i
