Too bad there isn't a volcano or two over there in Iraq, right underneath some of the palaces....would save the world quite a bit of effort....

Freaky - earthquakes in Italy, Japan, Alaska, and a volcano in Ecuador. I don't see any way they could all be connected -- unless something unpleasantly big is about to happen.
