The "Queen's order" story was broken by the Daily Telegraph, which was also the first to break the story about bombing the Iraqi H-3 airfield:

When the Pentagon wants to leak stories, they use pet reporters at the Washington Times and Washington Post. Maybe the Daily Telegraph is like that?

Think it's bogus? Could very well be. The claims are extraordinary. If it turns out to be false - so be it, and I will have learned that reporter should not be trusted.

In point of fact, Geoff Hoon slammed the article in Parlaiment yesterday.
