You are talking like a spoiled child.Real men do what is necessary, with out making weak excuses.We need their oil, why make up lame reasons like "they started it",and theirs is a bad culture to justify our actions. Are you also saying that the was no problem until 9/11? I am not against war for oil,but I am against wrapping it up in self rightous clap trap like you are doing.

If we WERE the Romans then the world would be a far different place. You might want to check your facts, your opinions and your conclusions. The best quote from ancient Rome I can think of in the current world situation is very simply Roman to the core at its imperialist height: " What matter if they hate us so long as they fear us?" And by the way to Cannucks, sorry you have let so many immigrants in you cannot afford to speak your mind about disagreements with Islamic fundamentalism. One of your retired ministers of immigration was interviewed on a 60 Minutes equivalent not long ago, to wit, you have let so many Islamic fundamentalists in you dare not try to curb them...90 minutes afterlanding from Riyahd to Toronto a Muslim of any political persuasion can be out the door of the airport with a medical card and access to welfare. And any politician who might want to change that would lose his job were he voice desire publicly. Sorry Canada. That is one turkey may come home to roost. BTW we(the USA) has neither the will nor the courage to act under the Roman policy referred to above so the point is academic.
