I believe Bush could launch a nuclear attack on Iraq tomorrow, and there would be those here cheering him on to not stop there, cause the job ain't finished yet. I believe Israel could begin to expel Pals out of the territories, and there would be those here cheering him on to not stop there, cause the job ain't finished yet. So what is there to discuss anymore? Bush can do no wrong. Israel can do no wrong. The rest of the world can do no right, and any American with a different view is a traitor or un - patriotic, and God forbid, anyone from another country have a different view, are automatically Anti - American. Bush said, " You are either with us or agin us in the war on terra ". That has now morphed into simply ..." You are either with us or against us ". Us being whoever follows the party line in whatever the scenario of the day, week, or month is,and ultimately speaking for all Americans. A democracy is not a place where you are simply able to cast ballots. The Silence of the lambs has transgressed towards the silence of the entire animal kingdom, save for those who wear the proper stripes, and the animal kingdom is one of survival of the fittest....or in this case..the loudest and most threatening. The Sound of Silence medialab.chalmers.se Hello darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again, Because a vision softly creeping, Left its seeds while I was sleeping, And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence. In restless dreams I walked alone Narrow streets of cobblestone, 'Neath the halo of a street lamp, I turned my collar to the cold and damp When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light That split the night And touched the sound of silence. And in the naked light I saw Ten thousand people, maybe more. People talking without speaking, People hearing without listening, People writing songs that voices never share And no one dare Disturb the sound of silence. "Fools" said I, "You do not know Silence like a cancer grows. Hear my words that I might teach you, Take my arms that I might reach you." But my words like silent raindrops fell, And echoed In the wells of silence And the people bowed and prayed To the neon god they made. And the sign flashed out its warning, In the words that it was forming. And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls And tenement halls." And whisper'd in the sounds of silence. - Paul Simon -
