Hi LB - back from the doctor's office. It appears that the loss of range of motion is due to swelling, not damage to the tendon. They took off the cast and I am wearing a surgical shoe, and not using the crutches while inside the house, just hobbling. Not sure whether I can drive or not -- I have a manual transmission so need the right foot to clutch and brake and that seems iffy right now. Oh, well, looks like I get out of housework for the foreseeable future. Darn!;^)
