Re <<Christ NEVER suggested that one person should kill another.>>

Nothing disgusts me more than when people speak with authority about topics they know nothing about. Good thing you capitalized "NEVER". Do you think Chris would suggest following the Bible? Here is what the Christian Bible says:

"“And when the Lord thy God hath delivered [a city] into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword: (Deuteronomy 20:13-16). "

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them”(Leviticus 20:13).

What do you say now? Maybe you can tell Ted how stupid he is to make you feel better.

look at the Christians who have killed people working at abortion clinics.

If the practice were as widespread within Christianity as support for these killings are in Islam, I'd be condemning Christianity as well. However, Christ NEVER suggested that one person should kill another. I don't think the same can be said of Muhammed.

How do you know that the size of the radical fringe here in the US is smaller than the radical fringe in Islam? Do you have statistics from which you are quoting?

Al Qaeda, Hamas and the other terrorists groups are very small in numbers....much like the radical right here in the US.

These ties did not exist between the Japanese Kamikazes and their religion; nor between the constituents in Northern Ireland. Only Islam purportedly rewards these cold-blooded killers with paradise and martyrdom.

In their conflict, the Cath. and the Prots. are motivated by their religious beliefs. Do their religions not provide them with rewards for pursuing this conflict? If not, why do they bother to fight in the name of their religion?
