GRITS? Southern Illinois? Missouri has grits. The Mississippi River divides grits area from biscuits and gravy land. When goose hunting I used to eat breakfast at the Von Dot outside of Anna, Illinois. Holy Mother of God must have protected me, all the food was floating in grease.

How are you doing? Long time no see.

Guess you're talking about the Hispanic influx.

Ish is right about the biscuits and gravy - I grew up on that. And sampled my present wife's before we married. She does a good job but not as good as my Grammaw's.

Are you in or from S. IL? I grew up around Anna and Mill Creek but am in Spring Tx now.
