You got that damned right. And it probably comes up more and more nowadays when information is so widely available on the internet. This is particularly true when you make connections between things, or when you have a combination of problems. There are questions that a doctor just doesn't know to ask, but if you read up on the condition yourself, your eye automatically jumps to the facts that fit your own case.

It's a good idea to eat a banana a day or take some potassium supplement when your on diuretics.
Without this you may find you get a lot of cramps in your legs.
My father had congestive heart failure and had to take quite a few diuretics.. It got so that he'd want to skip them because the cramps were soo bad. But, he didn't like the potassium stuff he was supposed to take either.. so probably skipped that now and then.
