Because the absence of doing those things, I don't see how you can fault Bush for not nation building in Irag before we take it over, John. And you know there is not one productive thing that could be done about Israel/Palestine yet, and that it would be counterproductive to be moving on it yet. As for Afghanistan, I don't know what you would want us to build over there at the moment. It has always been a tribal country. They call it "Warlords" but tribes is what it is.
