Cuba pretty much got the same kind of raw deal

PT, read David's last post that describes the Cuban Doctors in Venezuela. I could post forever to you and never sum up what is wrong in Cuba better than that.

Fact is, you said Cuba missed out on 50 years of development. South America, Latin America and Mexico, 99 percent non-communist throughout this same 50 year period, didn't get much development--did they ?

Nobody denies that development has been very uneven in South America, but to claim that Cuba is comparable is laughable. Maybe someone who's recently been to Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, or other major cites in South America can tell us how there has been no "development" there in 50 years, LOL !

We should have normalized relations when the Berlin Wall came down, but as long as Castro is running the show, things won't be much different regardless.
