Eva, this is exactly what I said or was trying to say about my business friend conversation the other day.

They are like deer in the headlights now, scared out of their wits.

"But what can a person do?" is the typical question, and it doesn't even hit their pee brains that cash is better than going backwards. They look at mm funds and think those low interest rates are for the idiots.

They look at those 401 K's managed and offered by their company greats, and still think these folks know what they are doing. It will take another 10 Enron's before they figure it out.

"Don't you think the DOW will pretty soon get back to 10,000?" is another typical question.

Yah in about 20 years maybe.

I have also tried. I have even showed them exactly what kind of gains I have made while they are going down 28%/annum.

Hey I do not feel guilty or heart broken. I tried they have to open their own eyes first. The hell with them.

If too many of our closet friends ?go up un smoke" financially speaking, we will all be in a heap of trouble.... We are not islands.

they still look at me like I am from the moon!

I thought men were from Mars, and women were from Venus! :)
