You just answered your own question. >>> I didnt ask a question. i was responding to your reasoning that suv's were responsible for the war for oil. They arent. The military is responsible for the war for oil because its what they need to exist. Think vampires and blood. The statement in your response though is, in and of itself, true. If you are not dependent on oil, which would assume some other source of energy is available to run a war machine, you wouldnt have an oil war. You could have a war though to take over something else in order to rule the world. A war to keep some other country from taking anything you want. Or a war for the source of energy your military was dependent upon.
