You also know that ACTUAL coat hangers have been used for abortions ever since they were invented...and that they are used today. I strongly doubt both of those statements. Do you have any evidence other than your prejudice for either?

"Why would you male such a flippant remark?" I go through periods of flippancy when things get too extreme around here. However, I don't think it is just me or that it is just a male thing. I usually avoid the, to be or not to be an abortionist discussion because I think in reality it is too serious and personal to qualify for the kind of political or philosophical wranglings that go on here. The "coat hanger" comment (yours) just seemed past its prime so, I thought I would tag it. "Perhaps you ought to put something like this into a search engine: ILLEGAL RATES ABORTIONS INFECTION DEATH UNSANITARY BLEEDING SCARRING UTERUS INFERTILITY... no thanks, it was bad enough just seeing it in my in box. Most of your argument seems to be juxtapositioning the state of illegal abortions vs legalized abortions. The other side seems to be arguing against both. You might want to see if you could agree to argue about the same point. 'nuf fer me. have fun.
