Glory is one of my favorite movies ever and one of the very few I own. The true story of the 54th Mass colored regiment. The James Horner soundtrack is absolutely one of his finest. Denzel Washington won a Best Supporting Actor award for his role. I've heard criticism that Matthew Broderick was too lightweight for the role of Colonel Shaw, but I disagree. He resembles him in the face very much and remember, Shaw was the young, somewhat coddled son of white Boston aristocrats. Great stuff...
