Hey, I think Burnside did more to win the war for the Confederacy. With what he did to Burnside, Lee must have thought Lincoln was a secret Confederate agent.

A decent man better suited to politics. He was a Senator and Governor of Rhode Island after the war.

He also was the victor at Roanoke Island and New Bern. (We won't mention Fredericksburg.)
