Think about the depth to which this is splitting the US and the world...and Bush campaigned on the premise of being a great unifier. Whatever perceived benefit comes from this hardline campaign is wasted on the malevolence it is creating at home and abroad.

I didn't know that. But somehow, I doubt Susan Sarandon would ever take the subway. Taxis and limos, that sounds more like it.

Actually, a friend spotted here husband coming out of the subway but she wasn't with him.

Apparently, taking the NYC subways has become fairly cool among actor types.....even the more well known ones; ie Kevin Bacon and his wife and kids were recently spotted getting off the subway according to one of the fan zines.
