Our companies are global and our president is isolationist.

That's funny. An imperialistic cowboy isolationist. LOL

Perhaps these CEOs you quote should move to France or Russia where they put short term commercial interests ahead of long-term security issues. If there weren't so many groups defending Iraq to suit their own commercial and political self-interest, this would have been over months ago. It's the dragging on that's keeping the economy down.

>> Our companies are global and our president is isolationist <<

ahem, excuse me? we are quite interventionist, not isolationist. but i understand what you are trying to say. our interventionist ways are alienating and isolating us from the rest of the world.

>> The level of worldwide tension is higher than I've ever seen even right after 911 <<

well this is directly a result of george w bush not having an independent america-first foreign policy. america's foreign policy is at the behest of the israelis and their amen corner here in the u.s.

>> Lots of people that voted for Bush are abandoning him here and the GDP estimates for 03 are being revised to less than 2% growth....But he has prolonged the pain severly <<

i never voted for bush yet no matter who held office the economy was going to stumble. the economy would be no better if albert gore was in office.
