It is a shame that it is just a commodity.I did truly love my Datek.The streamer was the catch, you just had to have it.I love habit.I dont like it when my wife moves the furniture around.It takes me weeks to get used to anything. Very nice guy from ameritrade called me today.It takes weeks to move from one broker to another so Once its in motion you cant change it.I mostly make money from the rydex dynamic funds and they let you trade for free(ameritrade charges 17.99 per trade). I explained to the guy how badly ameritrade handled the cash account change.They should have offered phone trades at the same price as online trades since it was their software problem.I think many people felt the same as all datek accounts will be transferred to ameritrade 2/24. What would it have cost them for 30 days of same price phone trades?Im sure a lot less than it is costing them in lost traders.
