Robert Duvall, I haven't seen his turn in G&G yet.


I never miss a movie with Duvall. He is always superb.

Returning to one of your previous posts, re CW widows, there was a book I recall reading, something to the effect, "Remembrances of the widow of the last surviving CW veteran". (As opposed to last surviving widow) Do you recall that one? It was very interesting, as it described the CW aftermath life of the veteran, who initially was a "drummer boy".

I liked Foote also in Burns' presentation. Maybe will get "Shiloh".
