" I do believe firmly that Democrats are much more willing to scrape the bottom of the barrel."

I agree and the Clinton years are the evidence of how far the Dems have fallen and how they are more than willing to stay that way.

Yes, the Democrat Party is NOT the party of Roosevelt and Truman, thats FOR SURE. I think back and TRY and determine what went wrong, and no matter how hard I try I always come back to the one central fact. Clinton dragged that Party into the lower bowels of the earth. I think he likely has a severe personality conflict and feels he is no better then the worse of us thus appeals to peoples baser instincts. Look at the people posting here that are still strong supporters of him. None of them seem to me to be filled with the old fashioned American Justice, their heroes are people that have stolen and done well, people that would twist the law to their own good, people who would look the other way when an injustice is done if it means a sacrifice to correct it. Their God is the stock market, their personal pockets and creature comforts for THEMSELVES not for others. I personally feel sorry for them on Judgement Day, but I am hopeful this Nation still has enough decent people left fix the problem given the proper leadership. jdn
