COntainment of Saddam and inspectors from the UN. THere could be a small force stationed in Baghdad to monitor human rights abuses ( if the UN approved ). The UN is capable of agreeing on peace keeping missions as they have shown in the past.

It is the same thing we should do for countries in Africa that have human rights abuses that exceed Iraq's.or any other region of the world.

Could I ask you 2 questions?

1) Do you have a proposal to protect the innocents of Iraq from the leaders of America?

2) Do you have a proposal to protect the innocents of America from the leaders of America?

I have a proposal. We lift the sanctions preventing medicines and foods from being delivered to the Iraqi people. We offer them hope instead of despair and fear of war. Fifty percent of the Iraqi population is under age 15 and they like Britney and Avril. If we plunder and butcher their families, guaranteed they will hate us, the way the Palestinians hate the Israelis whose troops continually shoot children. War doesn't bring peace. Only psychotics want war and killing. IMO
