And I think (really mean this) that we should pass a constitutional amendment to enforce this noble tradition. I am of course talking about the old tradition of sons of upper class serving in war.

Somehow I think that would quickly change the tone of the rhetoric.

I find it both disgusting and unimaginable that this great nation is poised to embark on some ill conceived pre-emptive war. All due to a perceived threat, a threat neither proven nor actually made. A threat which according to the Department of Homeland Fear can be contained with duct tape, plastic, and a hepa air filter.

Does this make any sense?

Given the military supremacy of US force, is there a 'front line' in modern war ? I believe to the US side, it is more like video games with almost zero casualty(not the other side).
