Victorious by ending the painful 12 years of containing a nation within a veritable torture chamber full of horrors as well as setting it free to determine its own destiny free of the present regime.

If we dont find the unaccounted for WMD, Syria will be the next one to called to account.

Don't forget that it took a substantial military buildup and a threat of war to induce Saddam Hussein to allow inspectors back into the country. Moreover, inspectors are hardly detectives, they are more like auditors. If the Iraqi bosses would not elect to cooperate - and they didn't - inspections could never be reliable.

I think it was far better than all the killing and destruction.

Being one of the unintelligent according to you, I'd like to suggest that you consult Amnesty International and other organizations that have chronicled life in Iraq under Saddam.

Loss of any life is a waste in my eyes; American or Iraqi.

What you propose is that the world continue to do nothing and permit ongoing genocide of the Iraqi people.

Personally, I think the world sat by and let it go on far too many years.

Of course, not being Iraqi, it would be easy for me to turn my back and dismiss reality.

I gather it's easy for you also.
