<< Israel pulls back to its 1967 borders. The Coalition guarantees it against attack by its Arab/Muslim neighbor. >>

Not reasonable. Israel would have indefensible borders. The Arab terrorists would be able to bomb Israeli cities without little effort.

Is the coalition going to move in forces each time a bus is blown up, or a city hit by a missile?

<< Any country violating this deals with the Coalition forces. >>

Israel's biggest threat would come from the terrorists, who could now easily strike Israel.

<< The gov't will be removed, replaced, and the leadership subject to war crimes trials conducted by the Coalition. >>

The world can't even get the Palestinians to form a responsible government now. How would the world effect this change of government? If Hamas, Hezbollah and the rest of the terrorist groups are still strong forces, how do you deal with them?

<< All countries subject to the agreement (Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi, Syria, Lebanon, ..) agree not to allow terrorist activities against Israel to operate from their territory. >>

Most of these nations refuse to accept Israel's right to exist. Most of them are brutal dictatorships, who's words can't be trusted. You've got a long way to go to get them to act in a civilized manner.

Besides that, countries like Syria and Lebanon openly support and harbor terrorist groups. They are not going to cooperate. Force Israel to pull back to indefensible borders and you'll need hundreds of thousands of troops guarding the border, and even that won't be enough.

<< If they do not stop them, the Coalition steps in. >>

OK. Syria and Lebanon is openly harboring and supporting terrorist groups right now. Syria has it's troops in Lebanon. We need to have the coalition move in right now.

<< Israel is subject to the same conditions: it must not allow Israelis to carry out terrorist activities against other countries in the agreement. >>

Yeh, sure. Israel has terrorists attacking Arab nations all of the time. It's going to be hard to have them stop. <g>

<< Jerusalem becomes an international city protected by the coalition. >>

Never happen. Israel shouldn't agree to this, and will never agree to this. Jerusalem is Israel's most important city.

An agreement with Arab nations, which are run by dishonest, brutal dictators would not be worth the paper it is written on.

"Jerusalem becomes an international city protected by the coalition. It has an elected democratic gov't, but it must allow all persons of any religion in and must allow access to religious shrines."

It's a scary thought, but you are finally starting to make sense. In fact, it is a very sensible proposal. But I don't think you'll get the die-hard Zionists to agree with it. Judge for yourself from those on this thread.

Why exclude France - other than for reasons of blind vindictiveness? Of course France must be included. We have to have one civilised nation!

What does international city means? Is not US recognized Jerusalem as a capital of Israel?

Either way you would find it that many if not all Israelis would welcome such a deal

It also the fact that currently all religions are respected in Israel's Jerusalem. The dome is on the sight of the temple and is respected and not threatened. Arafat, OTOH, proposed couple of years back that "for the sake of the peace" the crying wall should be demolished
