Somebody better tell that to NASCAR and the Indy 500 drivers. Somehow those guys manage to walk away from crashes at 200 mph even being belted in.

When I bought a Jeep Grand in '95 that came with an air bag I read the manual. When I read " If the air bag deploys in an accident and the driver isn't using his lap/shoulder belt, the driver's face may be torn off by the air bag.".

After reading that, belt use became a religion for me.
