Resolve of the Prez

Not many doubt the prez' resolve, I think. But he could use a little more finesse when making public statements like this:

I loathe Kim Jong Il!" Bush shouted to Woodward. "I've got a visceral reaction to this guy because he is starving his people. Maybe it's my religion … but I feel passionate about this.

It's enough to make a dear leader cancel his clipping service, and it's not helpful.

That's why we have diplomatic types like tekboy. They can lie to your face all day long and go home and sleep like a baby.

Bill,

You are getting so far drawn into supporting dubious Republican causes, the next thing we hear you will be contributing some of your bond clipping income to the Senate leadership.

I assume you saw this one on Santorum.

G.O.P. Senator's Remark on Gays Draws Fire
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

An excerpt:

>>In a recent interview with The Associated Press, Mr. Santorum, a Pennsylvania Republican, criticized homosexuality while discussing a pending Supreme Court case over a Texas sodomy law.

If the Supreme Court endorses a right to consensual gay sex within the home, he said, "then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery. You have the right to anything."<<
