When a person makes remarks that are prejudice and bigoted then I have to believe that that person is prejudiced and bigoted.

My thoughts are influenced by those that I have known and not by those that I have no knowledge of. I don't pretend anything other than that.

I would love to believe that fundamentalist Christians could except all people on a equal level because I know many people who are FC's and are basically good people. Unfortunately, they have become biased by preachers who interjected dark energy into Bible scripture...IMHO.

Since religion is practiced in public weekly if not daily, can you point to any recognized fundamentalist Christians who have expressed a tolerant view on homosexuality? That way you don't have to prove a negative (i.e. not all fundamentalists are anti-gay) but can simply cite a positive example.

I think you will have a hard time finding one. But I grew up in the Bible Belt, witnessed the fundamentalist movement firsthand and probably have my own prejudices.

As for not leaving the US on vacation, that's your loss, but I'm sure you don't lose sleep over it. To each their own.
