So far his comments have been unsatisfactory and I don't think he knows. So if anyone here can shed light on the topic, I am all ears. I got interested in the question, because I took a similar perspective as you do here, but came to it from a much larger scale. It seems to me, that the society and even the whole ecosystem is functioning very much the same as you have described with the cells of a body. Each person has function within the society. We have "T-cells" (hunters or soldiers), repair cells, nerve cells, etc. This relationship continues on the microscopic level. For example, each time a man ejaculates, millions of millions of sperms are released into the woman. However, not all sperms are egg seekers. It turns out that there are at least 3 types of sperms. The first group rushes towards the egg and builds barricades by tying their tails together. They allow sperms of the same man pass through but block passage of another man's sperm. The second group of sperms is concerned with hunting down and destroying any foreign sperms. I've seen the footage and they look like they chew out the strangers. Only a small percentage of sperms actually try to fertilize the egg. What I am getting at, is that if we can see this process at the microscopic level and the macroscopic (people) level, how do we know that it does not exist at a cosmic level? How do we know that we are not part of some much greater being?
