Bush is trying to create an incentive for growth here with tax cuts. If it will work i dont know because our cost factor of doing business internally is too high regardless of the value of the US dollar on the outside of this nation costs internally are set. This is due to our constant of we must increase wages.

Searle: <--- the powers-that-be do not want any any alternative to the "paper standard" when it comes to money. Also as I said before, and I'll say it again, we are actually trapped. There is no escape from the paper money and the debt and the implications of all of this...You you can dream and you can wriggle but you can't get out!>

Sounds like you are right where the central bankers want you. Afraid to hold the 'money', since they convinced you it is not a store of value, and unwilling to imagine any feasible alternative. And you may be right. So get rid of those paper obligations of questionable (and declining) value - and go get some stuff! If only the rest of you could be more like us americans... (g)

ps? Hear of Congressman Ron Paul's statement to greenspan last week:

"Rather than this manipulation of the value of the dollar, I would hope someday that we will talk about a stable dollar, one that does not fluctuate so readily."
