Do you think Turkey and Morocco should be in chapter seven land as well? Or China over Tibet, perhaps? I could continue but there's no point.

As a principle, that some skirt "the law" is no reason that law should be set aside. IMO

Very revealing... What is especially disturbing is how Israel is not held accountable for it's nuclear programs.

Not so many Chapter 7- mostly because the US doesn't let its "friends" get into Chapter 7 land- Israel should be there, but isn't- because of US influence

Incidentally, Israel is still in violation of the UN resolution which created Israel. Among other things, it required Israel to allow the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes. Ariel Sharon just stated that Israel will never adhere to this ruling.

<<< In a further move of defiance to Palestinians' right of return to their homeland, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon vowed Sunday, June 8, not one Palestinian refugee will ever enter Israel, during a speech to his right-wing Likud party's convention in Occupied Jerusalem. "I will never let any Palestinian refugees enter Israel - never," Sharon said. >>>

So, not only is Israeli violating international law, but it is in fact negating its own existence as a nation.

ISRAEL AND BIG BROTHER, Scamming the World

X,

Professor Zunes comes up with 31 violations by Israel. Others tally 68 violations of various U.N. rules by the arrogant Israelis.

Add to that the fact that the U.S. has had a consistent policy of vetoing sanctions resolutions against Israel and you have a very lop-sided picture of the two most aggressive bully-boy nations on the planet defying the will of humanity and all democratic principles:
