Actually I largely agree with your assessment. Constitutional Monarchy is the worse system except for totalitarianism and anarchy. I am no expert on iraq however and have no idea how the folks there would view it. But i suspect few on this thread are experts here either. mike

Tom Paine did the job on Kings in "Common Sense," and I agree. Can you imagine the mess Jordan would be if it had not had a King the last 50 years? That is the reason it is attractive to us, I think.
