Folks posting about QCOM who claim to have no opinion... now that would be interesting.

Then again, people with a negative opinion could also adopt a position.

The reason that I find the participation of 'non-position' holders so amusing is that without a vested interest in QCOM (postive or negative) their opinions must fall into the category of 'so what' or 'who cares'. Any fool can have opinion, but it is the views of those with an interest in the outcome of said opinions that are most compelling. Why someone is taking a bearish or bullish position is interesting to me. It sort of makes me think of people watching a poker match on television. Does their 'participation' mean anything to the players? Clearly not.

"What I would find interesting would be someone claiming that QCOM was the buy of the century but who is selling their position."

There is actually quite a long list of distinguished QCOM advocates who are selling their positions...in fact, a few more transactions were recorded in June...but of course, these guys aren't retail brokers, so they don't count. - g -
