america-

you could be right. those are the same thoughts that
the DNC has about dean...

but i disagree. perhaps it's wishful thinking on my
part or maybe it's extremely perceptive of me...
but i think dean is a candidate (perhaps the first in
history) that is building a campaign base and funding
base out of individual citizens. he's getting his support
from people like you and me - actual voters - instead
of corporate, political and special interest groups.

his use of the internet is truly amazing - he's letting
individuals (anyone who wants to participate) run this
campaign. that not only empowers the normally disempowered
average citizen, it gives them buy-in and makes them work
harder to see that he succeeds in fund raising and vote
getting.

go to his blog page: blog.deanforamerica.com
and click on "comments" under any posted entry
and read some of these for a while... see if
you start to catch the feeling that "we the people"
can do this and we'll have an open administration that
we've helped build and elect through our own efforts
and our own ideas... one that will owe US loyalty
as treat US as employers and electors instead of
vice versa... one that won't be beholding to the
usual deep corporate pockets that controlled our
so-called "public servants" throughout the 20th
century.

i'm pretty good at spotting innovation emerging. i see
a new america where people like you and i have a voice
and a role to play. it won't be easy and there is a lot
of work to be done reaching and empowering people who
aren't internet savvy - but i'm sold on the information
network as a tool that will change the world for the
better and i'm in the dean camp all the way. if he
loses the nomination then i'm back to the old paradigm
with you and i'll vote for ABB (anyone but bush) just
out of self defense.

i've been reading your posts and silently cheering you
on for about a year. you're a powerful part of this
grassroots movement. thanks for what you do. i know
it's discouraging and depressing at times but your
efforts are truly helpful and i appreciate them very
much. we can sure use someone like you in the dean camp.
(it looks like i've already bought-in to being a
part of this campaign.) <g> don't listen to me, study
the dean phenomena, the campaign "by the people" and
decide for yourself.

keep the faith, the tide is turning.

i am hiring a new CEO and a new management team
for america in 2004. the current ones are
killing us while they line their pockets with
personal profit, keep us in the dark about their
motives and dealings, treat us all like suspects,
rob us of personal freedoms and destroy all our
credibility as suitable and trustworthy partners
in a global economy... what a waste of some of the
best entrepreneurial and innovative minds on the planet.

Would you say it's better to stick with the candidate you feel best, or the one most likely to beat Bush? As an outsider I favour the latter (one reason I wasn't keen on Gore)...

<edit> of course if these are the same person so much the better, just you sound here as if you quite like Dean also.
