U.S. Considers Returning to U.N. for Help in Iraq
Sat July 19, 2003 10:54 AM ET

By Evelyn Leopold
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - With U.S. troops being killed every week in Iraq, the United States is considering returning to the United Nations to persuade countries to send in soldiers or share costs, running about $4 billion a month.

But at this stage, diplomats say, no one knows what kind of a U.N. mandate would bring in help from such nations as India, France, Germany or Russia. Politically, seeking U.N. help would be an admission by hard-liners that the oft-mentioned "coalition of the willing" was indeed a slim one, they said.

Thirty-five American soldiers have been killed since hostilities were declared officially ended on May 1, bringing the U.S. death toll to 149, higher than American fatalities in the 1991 Gulf War.

Very well rrufff. Just a Yes or No will answer my simple questions and you don't need to state the reason. Which will help me to answer your not-so-simple question better, and that will take me much longer time to answer it.

As to whether I support US to remove Saddam by force, My answer have been No. The world has seen that the war has killed thousands of innocent Iraqi people and has put the contry into great disaster.

On the US side, the casualties of American men and women and money costs for the Iraq war are mounting quickly on top of the great losses of traditional allies and other political cost in the world stage. And Americans are not feeling safer today than the days before the Iraq war.

The second simple question:

Are you a Zionist?

"I supported the war as did most Americans. "

Hmmmm.....Would these same Americans have supported the war had they been told the truth?

It's funny how the Brits are suddenly changing their opinion as the lies are revealed.
